The 20-year-old Post Falls woman who was injured on horseback during a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday night was in good condition at Kootenai Medical Center on Friday.
Lauren Johnson, a Lake City High graduate who suffered a fractured skull and collar bone, had been in fair condition.
Johnson and a friend were riding horses along Garwood Road east of U.S. 95 when a black or dark gray truck, possibly with racks on top, sideswiped Johnson and her horse, Blondie.
The horse sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the truck likely was damaged on the passenger side.
Those with information are encouraged to call the Kootenai County sheriff at 446-1300.
