LETTER: Mixed Marxist message

I would partially agree with Joan Harman's denial that Obama is a Marxist, although he surrounds himself with socialists and Marxists. He is also supported by rabid liberals who defend his financial failures with our economy.

The time to blame Bush has long passed, and Obama owns the results of a failed stimulus and policies that shut down the gas, oil and coal industries. The $250 billion he gifted to unions were taxpayer dollars to buy votes. The lawsuits against states that want to enforce immigration laws use taxpayer dollars to buy the Hispanic vote.

In view of Joan's previous letters, it is interesting she states that "Attacking people because they represent the wrong party of in tune with my way of thinking is Marxist Socialist."

Isn't this the same Joan who called conservative writers "childish, personal failures," and veterans a disgrace to their uniform because they didn't praise Obama and liberal views?

Although Joan alluded to her dismissal from the reserves after she didn't deploy with her unit, she condemns others who did deploy as lacking in honor.

I would suggest Joan read the book "Stolen Valor," or go to the website to read the definition of "veteran" along with her DD-214, which is readily available to anyone.

I believe the liberals who are in the 50 percent that don't pay taxes don't have the moral authority to decide who should pay more taxes to fund liberal giveaways and vote-buying.
