| August 1, 2011 9:00 PM

ONTARIO, Ore. - Leif Krapas drove in four runs as the Coeur d'Alene Loggers routed the Lewis-Clark Cubs 18-4 to win the Idaho state class A American Legion baseball tournament Sunday at Treasure Valley Community College.

Krapas delivered a two-run triple to highlight a 9-run fourth inning for the Loggers (37-21) to put the game away.

Jesse O'Hagan drove in three runs, Shane Siron two for Coeur d'Alene, which won the Area A title as the No. 3 seed.

"Ever since the kids beat Moscow (for the first time in six meetings, in a loser-out game at the Area A tournament), they've just gained a ton of confidence," Loggers coach Tom Barlow said. "We just had timely hitting and great pitching and at this level, that's all you need."

The Loggers and Cubs both advance to the Northwest Regional tournament in Roseburg, Ore., later this week.
