SENIORS: Home away from home

Everyone should have a place they can call their second home. Especially if you are a senior in this day and age when we do not get raises in Social Security and everything else seems to be beyond our reach money-wise. I have found our Lake City Senior Center a place to go for meals, meet with buddies and enjoy ourselves with all of the extra activities offered by this facility.

Yes, we are going through a rough patch right now but we have our shoulders to the wall and fighting to keep our doors open. Our new manager is more than doing his part to get this Senior center back on its feet, and not having to close our doors or cut back on programs. We really need your help.

Come and look us over. Try a good meal. Put in your 2 cents worth on how we can improve. We love suggestions that might be the answer for our decline on guests.

Seniors, for that is what you are if you are over 55 years of age, come and see our facility. Take a tour of it and if you are still doubtful as to whether you would not like to join us here, let us know why.

There is no fee for joining the Lake City Senior Center. I have been to many Senior Centers in our wonderful country and have yet to find one to compare to LCSC in any way, shape or form. We would love to have you enjoy yourselves here as much we do.

We have wonderful entertainment every Friday. Sometimes we have it on other days. LCSC features room for parties with a fair price. You just have to come and see LCSC yourselves. Check in at the desk and ask for someone to take you around and find out just what we are all about. Stay for a meal that gets served to you at your table just like an uptown restaurant.

It is my home away from home. I have met many folks who I call friends some of them are just like family to me. I hope you find LCSC as comfortable a place to spend your time as I do.
