LHD: Called out for good work

This is a thank you to the Commissioners and the current employees of the Lakes Highway District. I would like to commend you for the stellar job you all did this past winter in keeping the S curve on Lancaster de-iced and cleared to the point that not a single car slid off the road this past winter.

Your efforts saved a lot of people money by not having to pay for car and personal property damage and heartburn by being able to safely negotiate this hazardous location.

You did a great job.
