TASK FORCE: It's about time, Cd'A

I see that Hazel Bauman, superintendent of Coeur d'Alene schools, is commissioning a task force to look into student conduct at the secondary schools. Subjects that will be included in the study are: dress code, misuse of electronic devices and the procedures that have to be in place to enforce these rules.

Didn't I just read about that in the Coeur d'Alene Press? Yes. In a "My Turn" column in the Feb. 12 Press, some guy from Hayden pointed out the severe shortcomings in these and other areas of the local high schools. My only comment about this new focus: "You're welcome."
