Free burgers to benefit food bank

COEUR d'ALENE - Help the food bank, get a burger.

The Coeur dAlene Eagles Club, 209 Sherman Ave., is planning an event to benefit the Community Action Partnership Food Bank from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Anyone who brings in four or more items for the food bank will get a free hamburger. Items in demand include peanut butter, canned fruit, tunafish, cereal and baby food.

Deluxe burgers will be sold for $10, with all proceeds to the food bank.

There will also be pie available for $3 a slice.

The public is welcome.
