Fall Fest event set for Saturday

A Fall Fest will be held Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the farmers market site on the corner of U.S. 95 and Prairie Avenue in Hayden.

There will be music, scarecrows to decorate, fruits, vegetables and activities for kids, including a petting zoo, face painting, pumpkin painting and puppet shows.

Paints for the pumpkins and clothes for the scarecrows are provided.

Besides produce and fruit, members have grown fall-themed natural products for home and porch decor: gourds, pumpkins, cornstalks, oats & wheat.
