She went to school in Newcastle, Neb., until the family moved to Esterville, Iowa, where she attended Esterville High School. Sabelle settled in Walnut, Calif., and raised her family. They retired to Palm Desert in 2004.

Sabelle was a member of the Lutheran Church. She especially enjoyed talking (world class communicator), genealogy, and actively organizing her family and friend's life's agendas. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with the grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Lee at home; children: son James (JD) Dickinson and wife Tracy of Rathdrum; daughter Jennifer Yanez and husband Jon of Lake Arrowhead, Calif.
