Liquor store window damaged

COEUR d'ALENE - A window discovered broken Friday morning at the Idaho State Liquor Store is believed to have been an attempted burglary.

According to a Coeur d'Alene police report, the front door to the store at 1201 E. Sherman was struck three times.

"The glass had a film built in which prevented it from shattering completely," the report said.

Damage was estimated at $300. The manager said nothing was taken.

An investigation continues.
