Lazy Moose on Spokane River

A bull moose lays in the shade of Ray Mosher's Coeur d'Alene yard near the Spokane River today as the homeowner talks with guest Marie Schmidt, of Switzerland, in the background. Mosher first saw the animal from a large dining window as it was eating from his rose beds a few feet away.
