Business burglary suspect arrested
POST FALLS — A 37-year-old Post Falls man was arrested Sunday morning after being caught allegedly trying to steal a business van.
Richard Lee Trower was booked into Kootenai County Jail on charges of burglary, attempted grand theft and malicious injury to property at Service Masters on Boulder Court in Post Falls.
Police responded to the business at about 3 a.m. after an overhead door alarm was activated.
Officers heard banging noises and saw several windows of vehicles had been broken.
"When they approached the last van in a line of vehicles, they saw the male inside," Post Falls police Lt. Greg McLean said.
Trower allegedly took a garage door opener from a van and when the button was pushed, it activated the alarm, McLean said.
