COEUR d'ALENE - Authorities captured fugitive Cory Andrew Dearing on Sunday morning in Spokane, according to a police press release.

Police said Dearing, 52, charged for conspiracy to commit murder, was arrested without incident at the Maple Tree Motel, 4284 E. Sprague, at 10:58 a.m.

An anonymous tip led to his arrest, police said. The capture was a multi-agency effort consisting of the Pacific Northwest Violent Crimes Task Force, the North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force, Coeur d'Alene Police Department, the Spokane Violent Gang Enforcement Team and the Spokane Valley Police Department.

Dearing is currently incarcerated at the Spokane Public Safety Building, police said.

Authorities had been searching for the dangerous fugitive since 6 p.m. on Friday, when the San Bernardino (Calif.) Sheriff's Department provided a tip that Dearing might be in the Coeur d'Alene area.

Dearing is connected to a white supremacy group, according to an earlier press release.
