COEUR d'ALENE - A 39-year-old Arkansas man was killed in a one-car accident on Interstate 90 Sunday morning, the Idaho State Police reported.
Russell T. Plott, of Texarkana, was headed eastbound on I-90 about two miles into Idaho from the Idaho-Washington state line when he failed to negotiate a turn and drove into the median divider and struck the end of a guard rail, police said. The accident occurred at 3:30 a.m.
Plott, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from his 1990 Subaru Legacy and died, police said. The crash remains under investigation.
