SKATE: Cd'A can learn from Spokane
As the summer comes to an end and things start to wind down, there is one place that has been through it all and stayed the same except for the new paint job and some cheap metal ramps. There needs to be a story about the history of Coeur d'Alene skatepark and if there are new plans for it since it is one of the most used parks all year long (when the weather permits).
That park has been through some rough times and is still standing ... somehow. Other neighboring cities like Spokane have realized the amount of skateboarders and have done something about it to fit them. Although Spokane is a big city, they have accumulated five or more skateparks, all different in size and obstacles. Yet the city of Spokane listens and tends to their needs giving the opportunity for their riders to make better choices.
