Hogs roaring into town this afternoon

Today, downtown Coeur d’Alene will have an influx of motorcycles

coming to town. This weekend is the Idaho State HOG Rally. Beginning

at 5 p.m. today, riders will ride in a large group beginning at the North

Idaho Fairgrounds, to 15th Street down to Sherman Avenue, where there will be an open air dance in the grassy area on the south side of

Sherman at 6th Street. Sherman will be completely shut down between

4th and 7th streets from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., as will 5th and 6th

streets one block north and south of Sherman. Fourth Street and 7th

street will remain open for north and southbound traffic. Music starts

at 6 p.m. and ends at 8:30. p.m. There is a large group ride at 8 a.m.
