These are some of the necessary courses required of an ER nurse, with mandatory renewals every 2-4 years, depending on the course.

I have more than 25 years experience as an RN, and, while experience is important, education is equally important. Without it you are limited in your effectiveness as a professional. Keeping up with current trends is a vital component of one's job. Deb Wilkey has both experience and education.

She is a deputy coroner. She is a Registered Nurse who has been involved in trauma situations, dealing not only with the patient, but also with family members, law enforcement and funeral homes.

In 1988 DNA analysis was introduced as evidence for the first time in U.S. Courts. The gathering of evidence is a skill one must be trained to do. Deb has a master's degree in forensic anthropology and is educated in evidence collection, a necessity in suspicious deaths. She has worked under the close supervision of Dr. Robert West, the current Kootenai County Coroner, who openly endorses Deb Wilkey for the position of county coroner.
