CURRIE: Deserves your write-in vote

| October 30, 2010 10:00 PM

As election time draws close, I feel strong in my comments for Rick Currie who is a write-in candidate running for Kootenai County Commissioner, District 2. Mr. Currie whose rank was staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during our greatly misunderstood Vietnam war. He is now and has been a resident of Post Falls for 63 years. He is a graduate of CHS and North Idaho College. After his military career he returned home to work in the family business in Post Falls in the old Cenex Building Center.

Rick and his family are a three-generation military family ranging from his father to his son in Iraq. His wife Vicki's father is a survivor of Pearl Harbor and had the misfortune of having two ships sink beneath him.

The bottom line here is Rick Currie is the best man for this position of Kootenai County Commissioner. I believe he will have the leadership and knowledge to help our district be better than it is. He knows what the public needs and wants, and what our veterans need and want. These are times when we citizens of this county need to band together and support a fellow comrade in arms, who will be looking out for our interests. I salute him for a job well done in the past and look for him to do even better things in the future.

So I ask you all to write in Rick Currie for our next County Commissioner, District 2.
