Deliberations tabled on Comprehensive Plan

COEUR d'ALENE - The Kootenai County commissioners tabled deliberations Tuesday night after hearing two hours of testimony on the final draft of the county Comprehensive Plan.

Terry Harris with the Kootenai Environmental Alliance said he was surprised by the modest turnout.

Only about 30 attended the hearing, he estimated, compared to some development hearings that draw over 100.

The commissioners will hold deliberations on the plan at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18 in the Kootenai County Administration Building.
