OTTER: Keeps wolves at bay
I just want to say "Kudos" to Governor Butch Otter for taking a stand against the feds on the wolf issue. So far, he is the only elected official that I will vote to keep in office. If more of our elected "representatives" listened, we would not be in the current economic predicament. Our forefathers were not idiots - these killing machines were eradicated for a very good reason and hunting them is a viable means of keeping their numbers in check.
I am an avid hunter, and I have seen the damage these animals cause to our big game herds. They definitely, and often, hunt for sport - not just for food. I did not personally see, but close friends did, 30 kills in one meadow with barely anything eaten. I put Mr. Otter on par with Joe Arpaio, the sheriff in Arizona.
We need more "representatives" that are willing to take a stand for what is right and move this country back to the principles it was founded on.
I know the wolf issue may not mean much to some, but by taking a strong stand on the issue says much to me about Butch Otter's character and his willingness to listen to his constituents.
Let's take back America in November!
