N. IDAHO: People make it special
Mr. Mark McCrue requested information on North Idaho, specifically weather. I found out North Idaho has four distinct seasons, not too hot and not too cold.
I sold a business in Seattle 12 years ago and looked for two years for the "ideal" retirement town. I settled here, not so much for the weather, but for the real treasure of Idaho, the people. There is something to do here regardless of the season.
The people here are friendly, courteous and genuinely warm-hearted. I was tired of being wet 24-7, year around and through with big city traffic. You could do a lot worse than locating here. I have many friends here who are California "transplants" and they all say this was the best move they ever made.
Best of luck wherever you go, but I would place North Idaho at the top of your list.
