HISSONG: Keep good thing going

There is one race on the November ballot that will rightfully be decided by non-partisan voters. The Kootenai County Coroner's office has been well served for decades by the late Dr. Bill Wood and then Dr. Robert West, who is now retiring. The common thread for the past 26 years has been Chief Deputy Coroner Jody DeLuca Hissong, serving under both coroners. There is no substitute for that kind of experience.

She is professional, compassionate and dedicated to her duties. Jody is well-respected by law enforcement and the first responders, those who know all too well the unique qualifications needed for this position.

It is comforting for me to know that Chief Deputy Coroner Jody has the support AND endorsement of the Coeur d'Alene Police Association as well as the Kootenai County Deputy Sheriff's Association. I'm voting for Jody DeLuca Hissong because she is the best candidate. It's as simple as that.
