WILKEY: Most qualified coroner

| October 25, 2010 5:33 AM

If you want the best most qualified and educated person for this delicate job, please vote for Deb Wilkey, RN for County Coroner. Deb has worked the past six years as a Kootenai Co. Deputy Coroner under the direction of Dr. Robert West who has announced his endorsement of Deb Wilkey as our next County Coroner.

I have known Deb since 1990 when I was a volunteer for the then-Hayden Lake Fire Dept. She was a highly respected nurse at KMC in the ER and always met us with a great smile on her face and the utmost respect and care for our patients. Deb has spent over 21 years in the nursing field as an RN and knows the hearts of those around her.

Being the County Coroner a person must be able to show a great deal of knowledge along with a great deal of compassion and respect for the victims of the deceased. I know that Deb is the perfect person for this job, not only does she have the educational background she has the heart for the job.

Never being judgmental, always showing compassion for others and knowing how these tragedies are going to affect peoples lives forever is what Deb Wilkey is all about.

Deb has shown the desire to become the County Coroner by the continued education she has completed over the years.
