Three injured in crash on I-90
POST FALLS - Three people were injured during a multi-vehicle collision Saturday night on Interstate 90, according to Idaho State Police.
Nicole Ragland, 22, of Sandpoint, was driving a 2001 Dodge Dakota pickup eastbound near milepost 7 shortly after 10:30 p.m., police said. Ragland changed lanes and the pickup made contact with a 1999 Honda Civic driven by Lynette Fetterhoff, 16, of Post Falls. Both drivers lost control of their vehicles, police said, and went through the median into westbound traffic.
Once in the westbound lanes, the pickup struck a 2006 GMC Envoy driven by Tricia Dean, 34, of Coeur d'Alene, police said.
Ragland, Dean and Olivia Bauer - a passenger in the Civic, whose address and age were not released - were injured and transported to Kootenai Medical Center, police said.
Fetterhoff was uninjured, police said. A second passenger in the Civic, Anthony Turner, 16, address not released, was also uninjured.
Bauer was not wearing a seatbelt when the incident occurred, the ISP said. The other four people were wearing seatbelts.
The ISP was assisted by officers of the Kootenai County Sheriff's Department and the Post Falls Police Department.
