COEUR d'ALENE - North Idaho College's Alex Olmos made two saves and the Cardinals played to a scoreless draw with Community Colleges of Spokane in nonconference men's college soccer action Friday.

"Neither team created many scoring chances, but we put in a solid performance," NIC coach Scott Moorcroft said. "We were never able to test their goaltender and they didn't test ours. We possessed the ball better in the second half, but didn't turn it into enough goal-scoring chances."

The Cardinals (8-7-2) play their final game of the regular season next Saturday vs. Whatcom CC at Bellingham, Wash.

First half - No scoring. Second half - No scoring.

Shots on goal - CC Spokane 6, North Idaho College 9.

Saves - CCS, Ben Tesh 4. NIC, Alex Olmos 2.
