| October 21, 2010 3:29 PM

Timothy Dean Strobel (Tim), 46, of Rathdrum, passed on Oct. 17, 2010. Tim was born in Coeur d'Alene on June 11, 1964, to Willy and Jerry Strobel.

Tim grew up in Rose Lake, graduated from Kootenai High school in 1982 and later from North Idaho College.

He is survived by Naomi Strobel, his wife of 18 years, Rathdrum; siblings Dorothy and Betty of Pinehurst, Helen of Montana, and Jim of Utah; his children, Asa and Aubrey; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends all of whom he loved greatly.

Tim loved life and lived it to the fullest the way he wanted. He had a great passion for being outdoors camping and fishing with his family and friends. Being surrounded by his friends and family was his greatest pleasure. Tim was well known through the community due to his years with Jiffy Lube working for the Hardy's. Tim's outlandish humor left his imprint on all who encountered him. His family and friends all loved him and will miss him always.

In respect of Tim's wishes there will not be a funeral. There will be a Life Celebration and potluck gathering for his friends, family and community courtesy of Rose Lake Historical Society at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at 14917 S. Queen St. Rose Lake.
