NIC women's basketball
to host breakfast fundraiser
The North Idaho College women's basketball team will be holding a breakfast Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at Applebee's, located across from the Silver Lake Mall.
Players and coaches will be serving breakfast, with a percentage of the tips from the event going to the team.
Cost is $7 per person and is all you can eat pancakes, sausage and drink.

Sandpoint, Lake City ready
to Tackle for a Cure
The Lake City Timberwolves and Sandpoint Bulldogs will take part in the Tackle for a Cure game Friday at 7 p.m. at Lake City High.
Officials will be collecting change today and Friday at the school and throughout Friday's game.
Players from both teams will have the pink cancer awareness stickers on their helmets and members of the pep band and cheerleaders will be wearing pink.
Donations will benefit both the Kootenai County Cancer Centers in Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint.
Dodgeball tournament
set for next month
An adult coed Dodgeball tournament will be held Friday, Nov. 19 at the Mullan Trail Elementary School Gym in Post Falls.
Registrations will be accepted through Friday, Nov. 12. Teams will play 6-on-6 coed with no maximum number of players on your roster.
All teams must start each game with a minimum of two female players, with each team guaranteed at least four games. Game packets are available now at the Post Falls Parks and Recreation Office or online at www.postfallsidaho.org.

Officials clinic set for Monday at Coeur d'Alene High
An officials clinic will be held Monday at Coeur d'Alene High in the library.
Paperwork begins at 6 p.m., with the clinic to follow at 7.

Vandal basketball season
tickets on sale now
Ticket packages are on sale now for the 2010-2011 University of Idaho men's and women's basketball season.
Both single-game and season ticket packages to Idaho's 11 home women's games and 15 men's games can be purchased in person at the Idaho ticket office or by calling 885-6466.
The Vandal men will host regional rivals Portland, Eastern Oregon, Seattle and Montana during nonconference play and will also host North Dakota, Monmouth and Eastern Michigan at the BTI Classic Dec. 3-5 at Memorial Gym.
The women open home conference play on Monday, Jan. 10 with defending Western Athletic Conference champion Fresno State.
