No One Shall Die Alone needs volunteers

| October 21, 2010 9:00 PM

No One Shall Die Alone, an ecumenical ministry dedicated to serving the dying in our community, needs volunteers.

The organization is hoping to recruit men and women who can give a few hours in a month to sit with a lonely person who is dying.

NOSDA has provided volunteers to be present with the dying since 2003. It has served 221 individuals and their families - almost 12,800 hours of volunteer time.

The No One Shall Die Alone Ministry is having a training session on Saturday, Nov. 13, at St. Pius X Catholic Church Faith Formation Building, 625 E. Haycraft, Coeur d'Alene from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is required by Nov. 10 by calling Pat Connel at (208)772-2559 or Chuck Finan at 765-3230.
