LUNA: Secured money for education

| October 20, 2010 5:22 AM

Politics will never change and honest reporting is rare. Betsy Russell of The Spokesman-Review reported the teachers union held the rally in force for Democratic candidate for superintendent of public instruction.

No; not true! It was only a union leaders meeting in Boise, not a teachers rally. Why must union leaders keep old standards of instruction instead of moving forward to teach our children?

Yes, why? Tom Luna has accomplished much for Idaho's children and will continue to do so. Tom Luna has acquired an additional $22 million for public education through the Idaho Land Board.

I ask you: Why do members of the teacher's union want to keep the Democratic regime back in office? We need to keep Tom Luna, who has provided much for our children, to remain superintendent for public instruction and will continue to do so. Remember, they are our children.
