Candice Marie Lyman, 57

Candice Marie Lyman, of Post Falls, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at age 57, at Kootenai Medical Center following an automobile accident.

She was born Candice Marie Erickson, Sept. 8, 1953, in Coeur d'Alene, to Louie Jean (deceased), and Raymond Bruce Erickson.

She is survived by her son, Michael William Lyman; her father of St. Maries and sisters, Cathy Erickson of Hayden, Cynthia Hodges of St. Maries, Carla Fleming of Seattle, Carren Gale of Post Falls, Toni Erickson of Hauser, and brother Alvin Erickson of Post Falls.

Candy graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1971, and from BYU in 1975 with a degree in elementary education. She enjoyed reading and a variety of crafts. She loved children and was very active as a cub scout leader for many years. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. She will be laid to rest next to her mother at Woodlawn cemetery in St. Maries.
