THANKS: Strangers showed kindness
A few weeks ago I went for a boat ride on Hayden Lake. I didn't see where my wheelchair was left but it was gone when we returned. As our group was looking for it a lady named Bonnie (or Connie) offered to go get a wheelchair for me. Her husband did and she told us to keep it. I was so touched at their generosity, but did not get a chance to thank them.
My daughter called Hayden Lake police. Yes, they had received my wheelchair. Two 16-year-old boys had seen younger children playing with it on the dock and saw a possible problem so they took the temptation away and notified police.
The 16-year-olds brought it quickly to my daughter. I did not get their names either, but I thank all of them and hope they see this and know they are the angels among us.
Now those of you who always see the negative: look around and write in some positives!
