Nelson tops in online poll for commissioner

Readers of cdapress.com would re-elect Jai Nelson, the primary winner for Kootenai County commissioner. But not by a lot - and second place is something of a surprise.

According to the most recent online poll, Nelson earned 252 votes. Write-in challenger Rick Currie got 175. Second place, with 196 votes? It went to the option, “Neither.”
