University Inn receives Best Western honor
The Best Western University Inn in Moscow has received the hotel chain's highest honor for outstanding quality standards.
The Best Western Chair Award recognizes hotels scoring in the top 5 percent of all 2,400 North American properties in cleanliness and maintenance. Building design and customer service scores are also part of the judging.
"This is a tremendous honor," said Jerry Jaeger, president and co-owner of Hagadone Hospitality, which owns and operates the Best Western University Inn. "It's a real credit to our entire staff, particularly those in housekeeping and maintenance, who do an outstanding job every day for our valued guests."
Located at 1516 Pullman Road, the Best Western University Inn has 173 rooms and suites, as well as two on-site restaurants, a lounge, a year-round recreation center and meeting and banquet facilities with full catering services.

Hallmark Channel to feature Golden Spike Estates
Golden Spike Estates, a 55+ active adult lifestyle community in Rathdrum, will be on the Hallmark Channel next week.
The Hallmark Channel will be airing "What the Stuff Baby Boomers," which is a show that gives the boomers a resource to help plan their golden years by featuring homes/communities, travel, products, and investments.
Golden Spike will air four times on the Hallmark channel, Oct. 21 at 7:30 a.m., Oct. 22 at 6 a.m., Oct. 25 at 5:30 a.m., and Oct. 27 at 6 a.m. To celebrate this event, Golden Spike Estates, West 8580 Yosemite, will do a live party showing in its new movie theater room on Oct 21.
The public is welcome for coffee, doughnuts and tours.
A second showing with popcorn and drinks will be 3 p.m. Oct. 23 at 3 p.m. in the clubhouse movie theater room.

Peak Health and Wellness to offer health, beauty fair
Peak Health and Wellness, 927 E. Polston, Post Falls, is having a free community health and beauty fair from 5-8 p.m. on Oct. 20.
There will be health screenings, beauty products, food samples and more.
