LABRADOR: Don't buy Minnick's spin
Democrat Congressman Walt Minnick's campaign never ceases to amaze me. With millions of dollars to spend, his first two television spots attack Raul Labrador on immigration. Where were his positive ads extolling his votes in Congress and all the beneficial things he has accomplished for the citizens of Idaho? I must have missed them.
His first attack ad took Labrador's statements out of context and played them as if Labrador is in favor of illegal immigration. The current attack ad features former U.S. Marshal Mike Johnson, who was involved in the debacle at Ruby Ridge. He states Labrador has a business website that assists illegal immigrants. The message is Labrador can't have it both ways. He can't claim to be against illegal immigration and host a website that helps illegal immigrants. As a matter of fact Labrador has not owned this business for three years.
If you care to check the website, rapidimmigration.com, you will see it offers information and instructions on how to become a legal immigrant. Both of these television ads are dishonest and malicious. Minnick should be ashamed.
Many people in Idaho think Minnick is more conservative than the party he represents. If they do vote for Minnick though, they will be supporting the agenda Obama, Pelosi and Reid propagate.
Labrador has been endorsed by Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona. That is the fact you need to know about Labrador's position on immigration.
Do not be fooled by slick ads and Democratic spin. Vote for Republican Raul Labrador for Congress if you want to change the direction our country is currently headed.
