Dan was recently elected by his peers, the other 43 Idaho County Clerks, as the 2009-2010 Elected Official of the Year. What an honor to the citizens of the community which he has so faithfully represented over the years.

I've known Dan personally for nearly 30 years and have always admired and respected him. I've always seen him with a smile on his face whether things were good or "bad." If he encounters a "bad" situation he endeavors to correct it in an expedient manner. His smile showed his always caring attitude.
