WANTED: Info on Farragut civilians

| November 30, 2010 6:20 AM

About 273,000 sailors went through Farragut Navy Base in the early 1940s. There is a record of all these, mostly men.

In order to operate the Base, multitudes of civilian employees worked there, and some lived there.  My uncle, Royal Westphal, was one of those, I believe, as a Supervisor of Maintenance. A lady in Yakima is collecting information about people who worked there. My sister, Kathryn, (Mrs. William B. Russell) has agreed to accept any information for this lady. If you, or anyone you know, can supply any, please email karussell@bigplanet.com
