Cd'A police report two burglaries

COEUR d'ALENE - Police are investigating a pair of burglaries in Coeur d'Alene.

Someone broke in to the Dragon House restaurant on Appleway by breaking two windows late Thursday or early Friday.

Once inside, someone pried open the cash register and rummaged through an office, taking $140 in change.

A resident in the 900 block of 16th Street told police someone broke into their home Wednesday night by standing on a table and climbing through a window.

The victim said they left their home about 6:15 p.m. and returned two hours later to find dresser drawers and kitchen cabinets had been opened and searched.

Three bottles of prescription medications were the only items taken.

A resident of the home said the burglar must have know they had prescription drugs.

"He stated several kids stand in front of his house when school is let out at Lakes Middle School," according to a police report. "He though it could be them."
