SCHOOLS: 'No' vote supports education

| November 11, 2010 11:47 AM

If you really want to support education, then vote NO on the upcoming school levy.

Otter took the easy way out by cutting $80 million from our kids' education, leaving the school districts primed to use your home like their own ATM machines again.

Any representative who claims he cut taxes and stood up for education has done neither this year. The shell game Bauman played with the Tech levy, while knowing another levy was needed, was short-sighted and dishonest to you the taxpayer.

The best argument against the Tech levy was that the school district couldn't afford what they currently had, let alone support another building. In spite of the recession, you the taxpayer put your homes on the line and delivered for your schools once again.

Now you must vote NO to show your support for education... vote no and tell Boise to deliver a better state budget. Higher taxes during a recession will not help our economy or our kids, so vote NO and tell Idaho to start acting like fiscal conservatives and come up with a real plan.
