Recovery fundraiser set for Saturday

Fun for the whole family.

That's what is promised at Saturday's fundraiser for the Celebrate Recovery program at New Life Community Church in Rathdrum.

"It's just going to be very family oriented. Just a great family day and a very worthy cause," said Jennifer Scott, volunteer leader at the church program.

The event, which runs from 1 to 4:30 p.m., will include live music, food, auction, petting zoo and kids' activity booths, Scott said.

Admission is free, though there will be a charge for individual activities.

The auction includes a diversity of items, Scott said, ranging from inexpensive to high value.

The church is located at 6068 West Hayden Ave.

All proceeds will go toward the church's Celebrate Recovery program, which helps individuals address issues including drug and alcohol addictions, eating disorders, gambling addictions, abusive relationships and beyond.
