Berger to lead fireworks fundraising

COEUR d'ALENE - Debbie Berger has been named the community fireworks fundraiser coordinator on behalf of the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce for 2010.

"It is an honor to be serving Coeur d'Alene in this capacity again," she said. "To keep our fireworks display one of the largest in the Inland Northwest the goal has been set at $30,000. It may seem daunting, but to reach this target will take a mere 60 cents per resident of Coeur d'Alene or $1 per person who attends the show."

Here are some ways the public can help: Send a donation to Coeur d'Alene Community Fireworks Fundraiser, C/O Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce, Attention Debbie Berger, 105 North First Street No. 100 Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814.

For a donation of $500 or more, your picture will be published in The Coeur d'Alene Press.

Donate $1,000 and in addition receive four VIP Patio Party Tickets to the fireworks.
