Kenneth A. Smith, 58

Archie Smith of Post Falls went to the Lord May 23, 2010. He was born Feb. 6, 1952, in Torrance, Calif., to Kenneth and Juanita Smith.

Archie lived most of his life in Ridgecrest, Calif., where he made many lasting friendships. He relocated to Post Falls in 1991 to live in God’s country. He was always a hard worker and a dedicated family man. He enjoyed woodworking, watching Nascar and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Nannette Smith and their children Trisha Harbison (husband Tony), Angela Smith, Kenny Smith and granddaughter Sydney Harbison, all of Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene.

Surviving family members include father Kenneth Smith of Ridgecrest; brother Scott Smith (wife Pam) of Ridgecrest; sister Debby Puckett (husband Guy) of Sitka, Alaska; and numerous nieces and nephews: Bob Puckett, Amee Howard, Jennifer Sizemore, Nichole Williams, Sean Smith and Jeremy Smith.

Preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Smith.

Archie loved “shootin’ the breeze” with his family and friends. He was loved by us all and will be truly missed. His final resting place will be in our hearts forever.
