It's time to vote

Polls will be open today from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the primary election, which will determine general election candidates for county, state, federal and justice positions.

Individuals can only vote at their designated polling locations, which they can find by typing in their address online at: http://www.co.kootenai.id.us/elections/search/.

Those who show up at the wrong polling locations will be redirected to the proper site.

Folks cannot vote at the Kootenai County Elections Building.

Individuals can also register to vote at polling locations by providing a photo ID and evidence that they have been at their current address for at least 30 days.

Voters can only cast a Republican or Democrat ballot.
