Spring Home Expo is Thursday
COEUR d'ALENE - For the second straight year, the At Home In North Idaho Expo returns for a spring event on Thursday at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
Nearly 50 vendors will display their goods and services from 4-7 p.m.
Last year, hundreds turned out for the first spring Expo, just in time to get information and ideas for summer projects.
"Last year was the busiest we have ever done," said Andreas John, coordinator for the event, which is also held each fall. "We are excited this year. We should have a good turnout."
Vendors will include contractors, material suppliers, lenders, utility companies, furniture and design companies and providers of everything from floor to roof for shoppers to preview rather than driving all over town.
"The biggest thing is it is an opportunity for someone with a project to get information," John said. It is a perfect place to talk to different people, some in the same category, for ideas."
Linda Davis, spokeswoman for sponsor Copper Basin Construction, said the Expo provides a "wonderful opportunity to network with other professionals in our field."
Copper Basin, and other vendors, will provide a wide variety of literature and other materials related to their products and services.
There is no admission charge, parking is free in The Resort garage, and there will be no line for the free food and beverages provided by Resort staff roaming the aisles.
There will also be door prizes and gifts from many vendors, plus a drawing for a $400 Resort package.
