PIAZZA: A man for the people

| May 19, 2010 7:24 AM

Rich Piazza is a 38-year resident of Kootenai County and has an excellent understanding of our needs, he has earned a second term as Commissioner. As a former small business owner and his 18 years in the County Assessor’s office put him in daily contact with all county residents. Rich is very concerned about the future of Kootenai County and for good reasons, his family lives here. Rich was a leader in the fight to add Pappy Boyington’s name to the CDA airport an honor for Boyington and the many Veterans who live here. Rich also supports the improvements to the range at Farragut Park so that Kootenai County sportsmen and women have a safe facility to shoot.

At an estimated cost of $140,000 to $180,000 a year Rich opposes a county administrator. The bulk of county services and employees fall under elected officials who we have the chance to support or replace as they come up for reelection.

Rich has demonstrated that he listens to county residents and spends our tax dollars as if they were coming out of his check.
