Suspect turns self in

POST FALLS - Darin M. Pannell, 21, Coeur d'Alene, one of two suspects in the alleged Sunday robbery at the Post Falls Walgreens, turned himself in on Wednesday.

Pannell turned himself in at the Post Falls police station late Wednesday afternoon, but would not talk to police about the incident.

He was booked into the Kootenai County jail on a felony robbery charge.

Police obtained a $50,000 warrant for his arrest on Tuesday.

The second male suspect has not been identified.

From store video surveillance, he is described as in his late 20s to early 30s, with a medium build, round faced, mustache, unshaven/beard and dark short hair. He was wearing a black colored ball cap, wire framed glasses, black long-sleeve shirt, dark jeans white tennis shoes.

In Sunday's incident, two suspects allegedly walked up to the pharmacy counter and demanded Oxycontin, then fled on foot. There were no injuries.
