Emily May Bakie, 64

Emily May Bakie,

64, went home to be with her Lord on May 4, 2010, in Klamath Falls,

Ore. A service of Tribute and Love was held Sunday, May 9, 2010, at

Eternal Hills Chapel. A private cremation and inurnment was held at

Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens.

She was born in

Wenatchee, Wash., on Nov. 27, 1945, to Arthur and Elizabeth

Colpitts Jacqout. She grew up in that area and after finishing

school married Vern Bakie on Oct. 12, 1962, in Coeur d’Alene. They

moved to Klamath Falls in 1972. She enjoyed selling Avon for

several years to her friends.

She was a member

of Stewart – Lennox Baptist Church and then Faith Tabernacle. She

enjoyed crocheting, fishing and camping at Holbrook and Lofton and

gardening. Emily was also an awesome cook and enjoyed baking as

well as cooking.

Emily is survived

by her husband, Vern of Klamath Falls; son and daughter-in-law

Brian and Mary Bakie of Klamath Falls; grandchildren Jacquielyne,

Alexandrea and Jessetina Bakie of Klamath Falls; mother Elizabeth

Jacqout of Hayden; brothers and sisters-in-law Elmer and Helen

Jacqout of Spokane, Ed and Marlene Jacquot of Roseburg, Ore., Dick

and Carol Jacquot of Hayden and sister-in-law Bette Jacquot; also

numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded

in death by her father and a brother, Charles.

Eternal Hills

Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

An additional

service of Tribute and Love will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June

11, 2010, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3115 N. 15th St., Coeur

d’Alene.
