CD 1: Issues in Ward's favor
Geese, another rehash of the same nit-picking issues about Vaughn Ward. If this is all he’s got, then his opponent, Raul Labrador, is grasping at straws.
Let's examine Raul Labrador.
While Vaughn was twice deployed, risking his life for our nation, Labrador was profiting from weak borders. He has a thriving practice as a busy immigration attorney. On his “Idaho Legislative Questionnaire for 2008 Primaries” form, Raul wrote the “state should not get involved in the enforcement of immigration laws.” He opposes Arizona’s new law. Just like asking a fox to mind the hen house, don’t be surprised if an immigration attorney is against immigration enforcement to protect his livelihood.
Like Raul, I am a naturalized citizen; however, I believe a country must control immigration. Raul has had many opportunities to support immigration enforcement; he hasn’t, why should he? As an immigration attorney I believe Raul is part of the problem, not the solution.
I’m voting for Vaughn. He believes in securing the borders and is against amnesty for those here illegally. He’ll get the job done without the influence of special interests. Vaughn is true conservative committed to a strong America and the protection of our Constitutional rights.
