TAXES: Shocker - rich do pay them

KUDOS to Larry L. Morrison! I have read the Pappas “talking point” diatribes in the past. Anyone with a computer can access the IRS website to verify Mr. Morrison's figures.

Sadly, some members of Congress promulgate the lie that rich people are getting all the big tax breaks. When you hear or read the “talking points,” dismiss them, the truth argument doesn't need them. The facts may not be what we want to hear, but they help us make the correct decision at election time.

As a recent letter writer on the OP ED page asked, "When was the last time you got a job from a poor person?"
