Ryan Booth Eastern Oregon

Booth, a sophomore and former Post Falls High standout, broke a 33-year-old school record in the 800 at the University of Oregon Relays last Saturday. He also broke the NAIA auto-qualifying time of 1:53:50. His time of 1:50.64 is the third fastest time so far this season in the NAIA.

Jenna DeLong Drake University

DeLong, a junior from Coeur d'Alene High, threw a six-hit shutout on Friday in the second game of a Missouri Valley Conference doubleheader against league-leading Southern Illinois. DeLong pitched seven innings, striking out eight and walked two as the Bulldogs won 2-0. She moves to 17-10 with a 1.44 ERA and 216 strikeouts in 179 innings.

Lela Work Boise State

Work, a freshman from Lake City High, struck out eight batters and allowed three runs in the Broncos' loss to the Nevada Wolf Pack on Friday in Boise. Work is 1-4 on the season with a 3.99 ERA in 20 appearances for the Broncos.
