COEUR d'ALENE - All hands on deck!

The Navy Band Northwest's Contemporary Entertainment Ensemble - "Passage"- is going to be rocking its tune in Coeur d'Alene this month.

The high-energy band is a staple for official Navy functions, but will be giving the Lake City a taste of its musical vibe from 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 11 at Riverstone Park and during the same time slot Thursday, May 13 at City Park.

The band is a top recruiting tool for the Navy throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and Alaska.

They play a wide variety of popular music from the '60s to the present, including classic rock, pop, and country selections along with hits by Paramore, Demi Lovato, Santana, Miranda Lambert, Metallica, Kansas, and Stevie Wonder.

The band plays around 100 performances for more than 250,000 people each year.

Both concerts are free to the public. Bring your lawn chair and blanket and enjoy the performance.
